Starting at the entrance of the village of San Esteban and running for little more than 1km, this trail follows the old railway line finishing at the old rehabilitated charcoal loaders and the hoppers used to store and load the charcoal.

From there you can see a panoramic view of the entire town, port and basin of San Esteban, as well as the neighboring town of San Juan de la Arena, on the other side of the mouth of the Nalón.
