The picturesque municipality of Muros de Nalón is situated in an area known as Bajo Nalón.
Together with its neighbouring municipalities of Pravia and Soto del Barco, they offer a unique experience in this beautiful area.

Senda de los miradores
This trail starts from the beach of Playa de Aguilar and runs along the coast of Muros de Nalón for 4,5 kms until reaching the beaches of Playas del Garruncho y la Guardada on the left handside of the river mouth of the Nalón river (San Esteban).
North Track
Starting at the entrance of the village of San Esteban and running for little more than 1km, this trail follows the old railway line finishing at the old rehabilitated charcoal loaders and the hoppers used to store and load the charcoal.
Natural swimming pools
Muros de Nalón municipality has natural sea water swimming pools which up until recently were unique in Asturias.
Nalón river
Desde el Monteagudo, en el concejo de Muros de Nalón, se tiene esta excepcional vista en la que el río se mueve igual que una serpiente entre la vegetación de las orillas.
Recreational areas
Throughout the municipality of Muros de Nalón there are various recreational areas, some of which have play parks and picnic tables where people can relax and have some food.
Aguilar Beach
Aguilar beach here in Muros de Nalón is known for its incredible beauty and its proliferation of viewing points offering outstanding views of the rocky coastline. The beach is more than 640 square metres, a small part of which belongs to neighbouring Cudillero.
The way of ST James
Stage 20 of the way of St James passes through Muros de Nalón, due to the size of this stage lots of walkers decide to pass the night in Casa Carmina Hostel, conveniently situated on the route itself.
